INTASC #9: Reflection and Professional Development

INTASC #9: The teacher is a reflective practitioner who continually evaluates the
effects of his or her choices and actions on others (students, parents,
and other professionals in the learning community) and who actively
seeks out opportunities to grow professionally.

INTASC #9 Interpretation: The teacher that meets this standard, is a continual learner and looks constantly for ways to improve her teaching styles and ideas and is always eager to learn more. This teacher learns along with her students. My goal is to continually revise my teaching styles to meet the successes and the failures in the classroom. As a teacher, I will look for ways to help my students and always strive to learn more.
