INTASC#10: Community Partnerships

INTASC #10: The teacher fosters relationships with school colleagues, parents, and
agencies in the larger community to support students’ learning and well being.

INTASC #10 Interpretation: A teacher who meets this standard has a relationship with the community and parents. This teacher contacts parents when their child has done exceptional also when the teacher has concern about the student. My goal as a teacher, I will have a relationship not only with my students, but with the community and with parents. My classroom will be open at all times for anyone to come visit and to see what my students are learning.

I have not been able to put an artifact here because I am going to be completely honest, I have not had any experience long term in a classroom so I do not have any artifact that would truly work for this INTASC standard. Once I have something that will fit here, I will be sure and attach it.
